I am the third owner after not one but TWO little old ladies. 25000 original miles. New shocks, springs , muffler. Original Michelins. Swapped the Strombergs for SU HS6s from Island Automotion...runs great!

That is really nice, looks fantastic. But, tires that old can't be safe, rubber may not be worn but it still dry rots.

Sorry, I should have been more clear...the wheels are original and the tires are skinny 165sr15s from sometime in the 80s...still in good shape though

A Canadian Boy! I love that color my first Volvo was a 1971 145 that was turquoise. Used to drive it between Calgary and Invermere 39 years ago.
      I have an Apache, plus 2 142s, 68 P1800, 91 740, 64 544.

      Hi GrantR,

Great find! Did your car originally come with Strombergs? I have a '68 144S and it came with SU HS6s.

      Does your car have overdrive?
