  • IPD Front Air Dam 1800 models Go or No GO

    Dear Community,

Many moons ago we created molds for front Air Dams/Spoilers for 122/1800 models. We're working with the manufacture on upgrading the molds and possibly bringing back these spoilers if the price is appropriate. We used to offer these Air Dams right around the $130 retail. Unfortunately after investing in the mold and new manufacturing cost, retail is coming in around $275.00. I figured this would be the best place to put out some feelers around this product. Would you be willing to pay that price if we moved forward? If not what price point to you feel is feasible. Thank you for your input and feedback.

Chris, looks like you need some feedback.
If you look at that original price that was more than fair for the product, add many years of inflation $275 is way fair.

        Hi Chris,
Are you planning to produce these? Do you have any images / diagrams?
I am re-building my P1800E in a Manufacturer+ standard but trying to comply with original design principles as closely as possible.so would like something prettier than a retrofitted 122 air dam.

I could stand $275 for an Air Dam that fit.

I would definitely be interested, but I would want to see what it would look like updated.

Hi, just wondering if there is any update on air dam availability? Just purchased a 1800E and it was something I started to search for online. Then I happened to check/join the blog here. Concurring with other members here. $275 seems reasonable for this unique air dam, provided the quality is good. Would like to see some photos to be sure. Thanks
