  • Bypassing the alarm since I have no key fob and driver door lock was replaced

So I bought an 96 850 turbo sedan without a key fob and previous owner told me that the driver door lock did not work with key. So when I parked the car for winter the battery died and I unhooked it to charge it. When I put it back in the alarm went off. I learned you need a fob or use the key manually in driver door to reset alarm. But I have no fob and driver door lock is different on my 96 than trunk and ignition. I tried locking and unlocking trunk but no luck. It ran great till I parked it for the harsh winters in Utah where I have to have a 4wd to get to my house. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is a locallocksmith able tp make the drivers door lock fit your key? Cut a new key to fi7 the lock? Those are going to be the least trouble some solutions.
