C70 2004 Cruise Control loss until restart.

I'm currently chasing an intermittent fault on my 2004 C70 cruise control. Occasionally it will drop out and cannot be re-engaged until the engine is re-started. There are no dashboard indications as to why and I suspect that there has been a fault code registered in the ECU that has disabled the use of CC thereon. The fault code is presumably describing a temporary fault condition which is subsequently reset on engine restart. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and have any ideas what may be causing it?

I had a similar problem with my 2004 V70 and the cruise control was dropping occasionally but I was getting brake booster position sensor fault.So after I replaced that it happened 2-3 times in 2 years.You can find the part link below;

It is located on the brake booster.
