98 V70 door lock mechanism

In hot weather my V70 rear door locks unlock half way then relock. Is this the rear door lock activator?

I had the same thing happen with my 07 XC70. It's either the rear door locking activator or the central one in the driver's side door. It only gets worse with time - fix it before you lock the keys inside...with the motor running.

Replace the actuator, easy, cheap. They all go bad eventually.
